The Japanese Obi Belt is made of genuine leather in a reddish brown. As always, left raw and very natural looking. I left this one raw and very natural looking. I didn't want to take anything away from the gorgeous grain of the pebble grain leather.

Once again my love of things Japanese is a major inspiration for this design. Historically the Japanese Obi belt was worn by women as a way to close the many robes in decorative kimonos. By men they were worn with the hakamas (samurai pants).
